My iPhone 10 takes a screenshot every time I push the power button without touching the volume button! How can I stop this? I am willing to do away with the ability to take screenshots to fix this extreme annoyance.

Hey kneen,
This is definitely an odd issue to have. If you haven't already, check to see if the Back Tap feature is turned on and set to screenshot. This causes a screenshot when tapping the back of your iPhone two or three times, depending on the setting. To check tap Settings > Accessibility > Touch, then scroll down to Back Tap. If it's turned on, let's turn it off to see if the behavior continues. Here's more information: Use Back Tap on your iPhone - Apple Support
Turn on Back Tap
1. Check that you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone 8 or later.
2. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch, and tap Back Tap.
3. Tap Double Tap or Triple Tap and choose an action.
4. Double or triple tap on the back of your iPhone to trigger the action you set.
You can even set a double or triple tap to trigger an Accessibility Shortcut to quickly access features like AssistiveTouch, Siri Shortcuts, Magnifier, Reachability, and VoiceOver.
Also be sure your iPhone is fully updated as updates help with bug fixes and installs security updates. Here's great information on updating: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Let us know how it goes.
Take care!
