volume on MacBook Air not working.
Anything I can check, other than making sure the volume is up, on my MacBook Air?

That would certainly be the best thing to do. It's not quite clear what you mean though by your volume isn't working.
In what was is it not working? Are you unable to adjust it? Are you getting some kind of error when doing so? What specific issue or behavior is occurring when adjusting your volume?
