Media Storage on iPad
My media is taking up a lot of space on my iPad. I’d like to reduce that, and reduce the “other” storage hog as well. How can I do this?

You should be able to delete media from within the Apps with which the content was downloaded to the iPad.
Reported System Data (a.k.a. “other data”) can be expected to fluctuate. Your iPad will automatically and optimally manage its available system resources, using available free space to cache data and improve overall performance. This data is automatically managed by your iPad. Unless you are approaching the limits of available free space, you should have no immediate concern.
Should you wish to manually reduce the current cached data (noting that any relief will only be temporary - as caching will continue as the iPad is used), you can clear your cached Safari data and then perform a forced restart of your iPad.
Clear Safari cached data:
Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
