Wondering if there is a firmware update needed.

You would need to check with your hearing-specialist,

Else:

Checking the support available on the manufacturers website may help.

Also: Apple support has some support articles available:

I have used hearing aids almost since I was a child and have enjoyed connecting my hearing aids to my phone for many years---different hearing aids, different phones. In fact, I have had NO problems connecting my hearing aids to my iPhone over SEVERAL years and several different iPhones..... UNTIL I got and iPhone 14. I can connect the hearing aids just fine. I can even talk on the phone for a long time.. Then something happens and they are NOT connected. I believe that something within the iPhone is a problem. My hearing aids are only about about 6 months old; it could be that the iPhone is just ahead of the latest model of phone.

My suspicions about why my hearing aids are disconnecting include: (1). Something in the A-14 is inappropriately turned on or turned off --- (likely outside Accessibility settings); (2) turning on my macBook disrupts the Bliuetooth signal--(my MacBook is no longer supported by Apple help---and I don't know where to look for a switch that might disrupt connectivity on the iPhone); (3) something disrupts the Bluetooth signal when I turn on my iMac; or (4) Apple requires me to sign into the Cloud and does not provide adequate service without the Cloud.

Since this does not seem to be a common problem or an easily identified problems I will begin a methodical tracking of the problem writing down time when they were connected and what was happening at the time they disconnected. It is seriously annoying to have to have to repeatedly reconnect my. phone and hearing aides.
