Dell sb522a sound bar not working on Mac Studio

I have a fancy new Dell monitor (Dell p3421w) and a new Mac Studio. My IT dept ordered me a nice sound bar (Dell sb522a) so I’d have better sound than the Mac Studio’s built in speakers.

The sound bar has been working for several months (although, the Mac Studio would occasionally stop acknowledging the USB ports on my monitor, and I would have to unplug and replug in the monitor to wake them back up). However, recently, the computer stopped recognizing the sound bar completely. The sound bar works on every other computer we have tried (including older Macs, Mac laptops and PCs). And, my camera (also plugged into my monitor) works fine. We have also tried connecting it directly to my Mac Studio (rather than the monitor). But not so much as a peep from my sound bar. In fact, the Mac doesn’t even recognize it as a speaker option in settings.

Any help round be much appreciated!
