The text on my watch keeps turning red.

I don’t know why. Any ideas?

I called Apple Watch 3 times and texted them. The text chat ended without resolution. The phone calls ended with “it’s a glitch, do the update” or “do a factory reset of the Watch” etc.

Anyway, I found the issue. You turn the dial to go into night mode. Problem solved.

Unreal no one from apple knew this.

Hey there jgindenver,

To clarify, does this happen at random or when switching watch faces? Also, try checking if there have been any changes made that can alter the appearance of your Apple Watch:

You can make text bold, use grayscale, and set other options to change the appearance of items on the screen. Open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch, tap Accessibility, then turn the following options on or off:
• On/Off Labels
Turn on button labels to see an additional position indicator. With labels on, you see a one (1) on any option that is on, and a zero (0) on options that are turned off.
• Grayscale
• Reduce transparency
Reducing transparency increases legibility with some backgrounds.
• Bold text

You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap Accessibility, then change an option.

Note: Restart your Apple Watch for changes in bold text and grayscale to take effect.

Take care!
