Previously purchased movies will not download or play on multiple devices (Apple TV, MackBook Pro, second Apple TV)...what can I do to fix this?

Multiple movies missing from library. When I click on Buy or Rent, it verifies with Apple that I do own it, then asks if I want to download...click yes, and it takes you back to movie splash page with only option to Buy or Rent again. Tried on multiple devices (MacBook Pro, Apple TV upstairs, Apple TV downstairs, etc.) - will not play or load content.


So..it is not a device issue, but rather something else. Thoughts?

When you try and access these prior purchases, be sure to not select Buy or Rent. If you owned them but don't see them as available, check your past purchases through these steps: Redownload TV shows and movies that you purchased - Apple Support


If they don't show, as you describe, then these steps can help: If there's an issue when you redownload apps, movies, or other content from Apple - Apple Support
