Remove Now Playing widget on iPhone

How to stop the lock screen from showing the Now Playing widget? I know it won’t show it when I actually stop or remove what’s been playing but there are instances when I would fall asleep or completely forgot that I’m watching something and for privacy reasons, I don’t want other people who might check my phone when I left it somewhere see what I was watching even when it’s locked, that’s what lock screens are for. I kept searching the net for answers to no avail, I’m a new iPhone user and I realized that iPhones are a lot more complicated and restrictive.
