Apple TV "Are you sure you want to exit Youtube" issue on B&O smart tv

Cannot exit Youtube app and return to home screen on Apple tv. Model A1625 (32GB) when trying to exit YouTube I get the following message "Are you sure you want to exit Youtube?" and a cancel / exit option. Cancel loops back to Youtube. Exit goes to a black screen with no Appletv apps. Power off and on of Apple tv restores apple tv home screen. I have done an on/off, software updates, delete and reload app, full factory reset and software update of Apple tv. Problem remains. Using a B&O remote paired with Apple tv. No problems with any other apps. (Apple remote died and won't recharge.) Is this a YouTube bug?
