iPhone 14 Pro Max will not play notification sounds on lock screen unless bluetooth is turned off

The only reason that would happen is if it is actively connected to a Bluetooth audio device, which is where the notification sounds will play.

Turn off the Bluetooth audio device it’s connected to when you’re not using it.
