Hi,
just opened my new Ultra watch and I have the green alpine loop. One of the sides of the armband does’nt fit the the watch. I have tried with the other connecting side and it fits perfectly on both sides. So, one of the sides does’nt fit on any side. Seems to me like an production issue!
Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

Return the watch AND the watch band in the original packaging to Apple and buy it again. Unfortunately, Apple considers the watch and band as one item, so you can't just return the band. You can do this in an Apple Store directly, unless you bought it from someone else. If you purchased from someone else, you'll need to deal with them on the return.

From the photo you've posted, your Alpine Loop Band looks complete and normal. Perhaps this video will better show you how to install the Alpine Loop on your Apple Watch Ultra
You're welcome. It's pretty unusual for a band from Apple to not slide in smoothly. But I guess there can be manufacturing issues with anything.
After several attempts there are visible scratches that can not be seen on the picture.
Just had my neighbour come by and he had the same conclusion. He also has apple watch.

nope, the connecting part gets stuck right at the begining. The other one slides in without any issues. This sucks!
