Repeatedly prompt to allow application to use keychain information

So this question was asked years ago ... but there were no good answers and its still happening, to me at least.

My problem is that it keeps prompting me to allow keychain access -- popping up a window that says "svn wants to use your confidential information stored in "...repository URL and name here..." in your keychain. The authenticity of "svn" cannot be verified. Do you want to allow access to this item?"

I installed svn using brew. I have updated xcode installed. i have re-installed subversion. i have granted access to the key in question to all apps.

So why is this dialog coming up? I've granted access to the key to all apps so why is it even authenticating the 'svn' app?

Probably corruption in the keychain. Usually it is necessary to delete the keychain for the one item and rebuild it.

Never do "Allow Once" when you want it to be repeatedly used.

The Keychain Access App in Applications -> Utilities helps you manage them.
