ALL bank related contacts disappeared upon new phone upgrade.

I mean ALL. For any contact with the letters b a n k all gone. ie food bank & coldwell BANKer. All other contacts came through ok.

Any one have any ideas besides i got hacked?

Thank you, this helps too. Since my dilemma I've also noticed on my new phone iOS that the default LIST that appeared in Contacts was the ALL iCLOUD list which did NOT contain my banking contacts. Thinking this was my ALL CONTACTS list, I momentarily panicked, until I found them when I finally pulled up my ALL CONTACTS list. Stupid error on my part, but did cause momentary panic!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, did you by chance have any other contact accounts signed into your previous device that the contacts may have been synced with?

If so, to sync those contacts with your iPhone, you'll just need to sign back into that account, and enable Contacts in Settings > Contacts > Accounts.
