Message indexing
My search messages isn't working because it says still indexing. It has been like that for a month I tried toggling off and on etc... very difficult now to find content and contacts in my messages

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. We understand your messages cannot be searched as they are indexing.
This can happen when iCloud needs to update your Messages across all devices. To ensure it completes, make sure the following are true.
- Stay connected to Wi-Fi
- Keep your iPhone on the charger at night to give Messages more of a chance to index
- Keep Low Power Mode turned off in Settings > Battery
- If you have recently updated, please wait at least 48 hours after with the above applied, and see if it helps
