My Apple TV remote does not skip forward 10 seconds anymore it only pauses. My Apple TV remote does not skip forward or rewind 10 seconds anymore when clicking the right or left side, it only pauses.

in order for that to work the tv has to support hdmi-cec and have it enabled Consumer Electronics Control - Wikipedia
