no resolve try the update from —SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies.

Create a new, vanilla, admin user account and try from there. Don't install any 3rd party software in that account.

Vanilla: informal having no special or extra features; ordinary or standard, unfettered with any 3rd party software.

Don't launch any already present 3rd party applications (in the Applications folder) in the new user account so as to not install any support files for them.
