Cannot drag and drop files on to Finder side bar.

I have placed /tmp (which is a symbolic link to /private/tmp) on my Finder side bar so I can drag and drop files directly to /tmp when needed. With a fresh new install on Ventura it seems I cannot do this anymore.

Any advice on how to get this working again? Thanks in advance!

File "Can't be Found" prompts after Ventura 13.1 Since updating to Ventura 13.1, at random times, when I double-click on a file to open it, I get a prompt that the file can't be found. If I click OK then double-click the file again, it opens as it should. It happens randomly to files of all types. I have never created aliases to any of these files and they are stored locally on a desktop folder. This has never happened before 13.1. new folder not empty when created when I open new folder it creates a folder on desktop with the folder as a subfolder, before when I created a new folder on desktop all the desktop was in the folder, I cleared desktop, restarted computer and put 1 item on desktop, a new folder is chosen on menu not "new folder with selection". every new folder created has whatever is on desktop. tried all finder preferences and no luck. please assist as can't organise anything and duplicates every desktop file makes issues. Thanks in advance

I tried directly with the /private/tmp folder instead of a symbolic link and it worked.

Thanks Marco! It works -- should have tried this, but was thinking that this should be possible with the link and stuck trying to solve this.
