Is the appletv gen 2 able to turn off my tv when i turn off the appletv?
My 4ks do it but idk if theres a specific setting for it.
Also, is the gen 2 Homekit compatible? Is there anyway for it to show up in my app?

Which app are you referring to?
It will not show in the Home app. It will not show in your device list (Apple TV software v7 or later required). Software development for this model stopped in 2014 (Apple TV software v6.2.1). Later advancements will not be included.
