Fix for calendar (iCal) scroll issue in macOS and OSX on macbook/ macbook pro/ iMac

I've experienced this for years but finally found a quick solution on stackexchange. Reposting here for all the folks looking for a workaround.

Background: Scrolling in calendar.app (iCal.app) month and week views stops working properly. They bump around but don't actually scroll.

Fix: right click in the app and viola. Why? I have no idea, but this works.
