Network Utility Deprecation Question
Following the deprecation of the Network Utility GUI, why does it still come pre-installed on new Macs to this day?
I can understand either leaving Network Utility in entirely, or removing the GUI in its entirety, however taking out Network Utility, only to leave a GUI in its place pointing users to the Terminal seems a clunky decision not often seen from Apple. Is there a backend reason for this? And ideally is there a way to either; a) reinstall the Network Utility GUI, or b) remove the signposting GUI?
