iPad Air 2022 with iPad OS 16.2 has no option to turn OFF the dynamic volume

Dynamic volume controls were introduced with release of iPadOS 15.4 onwards. For reasons known only to Apple, the ability to disable this feature is not available for any new models of iPad and iPad Pro that have since been launched - these models being:

• iPad Air5
• iPad mini6
• fourth generation iPad Pro 11”
• sixth generation iPad Pro 12.9”
• iPad10

Apple invite submission of constructive comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback pages. If you would like to see the ability to disable dynamic volume control functions for your iPad, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to make your voice heard:

Well, there was no mention by you of having found the linked documentation… and short of clairvoyance, I obviously have no way of knowing what you haven’t communicated.

As an end-user, just like you and every other contributor here, I and others can only direct you to known information - or in the event of mis-operation, assist you in fixing a resolvable problem.

As in this case you are limited by functional design, the best that can be offered is to direct you to an available communication channel through which you can make your feelings known to Apple.
