Problem installing Acrobat Reader Mac OS Ventura

I tried Safari first, and while the animated download bar on the left side of Adobe's page said the file was downloading, nothing was in the Downloads folder, or anywhere else on the drive. I tried it twice with the same result.

Gave it a third try just now. The first two times, only Adobe's animation showed a download in progress. This time, Safari's download button also appeared with its usual progress indicator. The file was in the Downloads folder as expected.

No idea why the exact same procedure didn't work the first two times.

It may have nothing all to do with the user end, but rather Adobe's servers not always responding to a download request. It otherwise makes no sense at all the first two times in Safari didn't work, but the third did. If the issue were with Safari, then it should either work every time, or fail every time.

Seems to be a flaw in Safari under Ventura. Adobe's site says it's downloading the installer, but nothing actually happens. If I use Firefox, the installer is correctly downloaded.

I'm not so sure. I downloaded Reader from the link Leroy posted in Safari running in Ventura.

I didn't notice what Adobe's page was doing. I just watched Safari's download progress bar and when it was done, it was on my Desktop which is where I set it.
