MacOS Ventura crashing when leaving unattended

Hi all, maybe you can help me to pinpoint what makes my macOS 13.1 (22C65) crash every night when I'm done working and leaving it unattended.

It started suddenly without any conscious change to the system.

Suspected it may be the Paragon NTFS for Mac driver, removed the application but seemingly can't get the driver uninstalled.

Let my know if I may post the crash report so somebody can take a look.

Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.1

The process of sleeping involves powering down all sorts of components, both external and internal. If one of those components doesn’t respond properly, then you’ll get a system crash.

My suggestion to unplug external devices is to check if one of those is the component that is not behaving. Unplugging a cable is easy and something you can do at home. But if you’ve done that and the problem continues, then you will need to take the computer to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple service provider for hardware diagnostics and repair.

I will give it a shot keep in mind this was not happening until I did the update

That's the thing about updates. They change things. I understand that people expect that all changes will be for the better. But at a certain point in life, one has to accept the fact that this simply isn't true. Changes are changes. Some are good. Some are bad. If you choose to be among the first to embrace change, then it would probably be better to learn to accept and deal with the unwanted changes.

Also, I notice that you aren't the person who started this thread. I know virtually nothing about the hardware and configuration of the OP (original poster). I know even less about yours. But when people are talking about NTFS, external monitors, external cooling fans, and extended thunderport extension, that suggests cross-platform, legacy hardware components. You should realize that the latest Apple software updates will always lead to more problems with legacy and external components and software - always. Apple is pushing customers towards an integrated, iOS-style, all-Apple experience. If you are happy with the way your computer is, or was, working, why change it? If you have lots of hardware and software hooks into other platforms and non-Apple components, every upgrade is going to be painful for you.
