Apple Music explicit content on child’s restricted account My 8 year old has restricted access on Apple Music under Family Sharing and Screen Limit and content restriction settings. Extremely explicit context (Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle) is still being suggested to him and he is being allowed to play that content. I have checked the settings on both my account and his iPad and they are the same (see attached photo). Despite explaining why it’s not suitable for children, he keeps playing it and I’ve had to turn off his access to Apple Music. Is this an Apple Music issue (I’ve read it previous complaints about the same thing) or am I missing something obvious? Thanks

Can't Download Spotify Due to Parental Controls My child just turned 12, and I wanted to upgrade them from Spotify Kids to the regular Spotify app. Since the app is rated 12+, I assumed there wouldn’t be any issues. However, when I try to download it on their phone, I get an error saying, "Due to restrictions set for this device, this app cannot be downloaded." I've double-checked the family settings, ensured the birthday is correct, and looked through various parental controls, but I can’t find what’s blocking it. Does anyone know where I might need to adjust the settings to allow the download?

Apple Music for Android Hello, I have an 11 year old son who just got a new Samsung phone. I have added the Apple music app since we have a family account with content restrictions. My issue is that even though the restrictions are enabled, the music app on his Android is still allowing explicit content songs to be played. I can't seem to figure out how to turn this off? When I check my daughter's iPhone, the restrictions are enabled and she can't listen to explicit music. We are all under the same account. I really don't want to take his music away from him but I also don't want to him to have access to every kind of song on the internet at his age. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

Some features and Apple ID settings work differently for Apple IDs created for a child. See what friends are listening to in Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device mentions this and more under the "Find and follow friends" section.

"Sharing music with friends isn't available for Child accounts that are part of Family Sharing."
