How do I fix a corrupt FCP library
A library suddenly won't open. It causes FCP to crash every time. Even the restored Time Machine back up does the same thing, which is odd. What can I do to try to repair this library?

Mac Studio
Hold ⌥ ⌘ as launch the application to reset the preferences.
Copy the media of the library bundle and relink to it.
After the relink window opens select the drive off folder with the media and click Relink. It’ll speech the selected area for matching files.
Actually, I did have the backup library file and opened that. It has all the projects, but none of the actual materials, so it's full of the missing file warnings. The library which will not open has all the files within the library package, so how do I reconnect it all in one easy move? That is, it seems I have everything I need, but not sure how to make it work.
Thanks Tom. I went into the corrupt library and copied the media out of it to another drive to relink, but I am finding that I have to relink the media one file at a time, which I can do, but it sure is tedious. Is there a way to do it all in one go?
Thanks, but that hasn't helped. All other libraries load fine. It's just the one library which crashes FCP on startup.
Thank you, Tom. I managed to get it done as you advise. Cheers!
