Unable to use wifi on a Delta flight

I was able to connect to their wyfi, however I could not access any links or websites. nothing would open. The error stated the connection for this web site is not strong enough. (This is not a quote, just as I remember it.) I could not find airplane mode in settings anywhere. Im wondering if because the device wasn't switched to the airplane mode, that it couldn't function? I am ignorant with these types of issues. Anyone got thoughts?

Hello ashligh96,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities with your question.

If Wi-Fi works without issue while connected to other networks, it sounds like the issue was the airplane's Wi-Fi network and not any settings on your iPhone.

If presented with this issue again while inflight, try restarting your phone to further isolate.

Hope this helps,

Cheers.
