Import to Lightroom classic 12.1

Since updating to OS Ventura I am now unable to import any picture files into Lightroom 12.1

using the supplied camera cable. The only way now is to remove the SD card and plug into a card reader.

On the Olympus Pen F that is a less than ideal process.

do others share this issue? Can we expect anything to be done to fix

Problem importing images from digital camera to Photos When I plug my digital camera into my mac (macOS Big Sur v 11.7)with a USB, Photos opens, recognises the camera, and starts to load the images from the device. The images begin to appear as normal in the tiles, but then the tiles all suddenly flip to greyed out. If I click on "Import all New Photos" or select one or two and click on "Import Selected" the screen jumps to the library folder, but nothing happens. I never used to have this problem - it started a few weeks ago, and sometimes I could resolve by pulling the cable in, out, switch on, off etc, but now it just won't work. I've tried a different cable, same issue. The images are viewable with no problem on my camera. How else can I get them onto my Mac? Any advice welcome thanks

Photos Import Function??? Ever since the update to Ventura 13.3.1, Photos will not easily import photos. It says it's importing, say, 8 photos I've selected from an SD card. That message stays up for at least 20 minutes, but no pictures show up in the Imports folder. I rebooted the machine, and it read the 8 photos from one card. But then I switched cards and it wouldn't import anything. Back to the blank import folder page and 20-minute "Importing..." message. Anybody got any help to offer, please?

Since Ventura update I cannot import photos. I recently got the Ventura update on my intel based Mac. I am unable to import photos from SD card to my photos library that is on an external drive. I've been reading that some people are having similar but not quite the same issue as me... I tried just about everything. Restarting. Disconnect/reconnect. Disk utility unmount/mount. Change photos directory.

My understanding is that this is a known issue and presumably a Mac OS issue, not lightroom. It impacts any camera to Mac import via USB. But that's all I know of the issue.

The issue has been resolved.I am now able to import via the Multi Plug and cable
