add content to my apple tv

Hi Everyone

I've purchased recently an Apple TV and I'm able to use it even if I'm living in China. Obviously everything is not available such as Youtube but I knew it before purchasing it so it's ok.

However the Guy who should me it told me that I can download some pictures, movies and so into it, and therefore when I am going out for vacation I can take the bo and have access to them.

So far I did not find the way to do it.

How can we download content into our Apple TV?

he was not really truthful,

the only model that ever supported storing media on the storage of the device was the first model from 2007

Apple TV (1st generation) | Apple Wiki | Fandom

the appletvHD and 4k models have storage but only for apps and games

they support accessing shared media from a computer on the same network, if a windows computer itunes is required.

its a streaming box, so guess no content to download your series or movies. Then you need something who can acces a storage device or trough ethernet/wife.

So 128Go is definitely too much... anyway it's done now.

I will see how to create the home sharing you're mentioning.
