Diskutil exit

Hi there,

I was in "Diskutil list" on terminal with MacBook Air 2014 and MacOS 11.7.

I tried to exit from diskutil pressing "Q" but it doesn't work and still remain in diskutil.

After few seconds the systems reads the types (I tried putting "exit", "\q" or simply "q") and return to the user command line.

Moreover sometimes it works normally.

Why this happens ?

Terminate commands

  1. In the Terminal app  on your Mac, click the Terminal window that is running the command you want to terminate.
  2. Press Control-C.
  3. This sends a signal that causes most commands to terminate.
