Can't tap-to-zoom my videos on my iPhone

I've always been able to use the tap-to-zoom feature to crop my Apple TV movies on my iPhone 13 pro. Removing the black bars. A month ago that feature stopped working. No matter how many times I tap on the screen, nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks!

ios 17.0.1 video zoom iOS 17 broke video zooming in my iPhone 13 pro. Video zooming is not possible anymore through the whole three focal length areas. If you start videoing at lens 0.5 You can zoom between 0.5-1.5. When you chhose lens 1.0 then you are able to zoom between 1.0-3.0 and when you start with 3.0 tele lens you are able to zoom from 3.0 to 9.0. This is a bug, isn’t it.

I think they changed that with an iOS update. It is now a two-finger pinch gesture, similar to how you would zoom with photos.
