can't pair xcode 14.2 to apple tv 4k 16.2

can't pair xcode 14.2 to apple tv 4k 16.2. this was paired fine with previous version of xcode and apple tv firmware. it has the pair button, i click it, the code appears on the tv, put it in xcode, macbook appears on the tv remote app and devices screen, but does not get added to connected devices in xcode. stays in discovered. unpaired in tv, rebooted tv, rebooted mac, restarted xcode, etc. nothing works.

Cannot connect 2 Nimbus+ Steelseries controller to Apple TV 4K at the same time Hello, I just bought a second Nimbus+ Steelseries controller to play multiplayer games on Apple Arcade (e.g. Crossy Castle). However both controllers are recognized as no. #1 and the second controller is not working. I couldn’t find any support on the steelseries page.
