Gmail account stuck offline. Can’t figure out how to get it back online.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! To take your account back online, follow these steps:

1. Open the Mail app, then choose Mailbox from the menu bar
2. Hover over Online Status
3. Click Take [account] Online.

Hope that helps!

Go into Mail's Accounts settings pane and remove the problem Gmail account. Then add it back in again. See.if that won't jumpstart that account.

I tried that. I didn’t work. Other gmail accounts are fine.
