I had an Apple ID suggestion asking me to confirm my passcode to continue using iCloud but I did not change it.

When I clicked on the suggestion it said:

"confirm your apple passcode to continue using ICloud. This passcode also protects access to data stored in ICloud".

I did not change my passcode or Apple ID password ( I did change them after I saw this though). So, does this mean my account is compromised? Should I worry about this? I just had never seen this massage before, so I am not sure what it means.
