I do not want to use lists in Contacts app, just the contact cards. How can I go straight to the cards and NOT show lists at all?
I don’t want my contacts on iCloud because it always screws up my contacts on my iphone.

Contacts should open on the Contacts screen if that’s where you left it. You should only see the Lists page if you select that.
Note that the main contact screen, titled “Contacts” is a list of contacts.
OK, I see that’s what is coming up now. Until this afternoon I was taken to the screen showing just the choice of lists. I have no idea how that’s what my Contacts app was set up to show first. I certainly did not choose that and had no idea that these lists were being used in Contacts.
