stuck in recovery

After my watch wanted to upgrade, all it does now is go round in circles. From the Apple logo in the centre with the rings going round and then asking a nearby iPhone to “Recover Apple watch” with a statement saying There is a problem with Apple Watch that requires updating or restoring. You press the tab “OK” the then displays a six digit number which you input on an iPhone, the watch starts the cycle over.

After several attempts of doing this, unpairing my phone, doing a hard reset, several times, nothing is working.

My watch was working perfectly fine until the this so called update. Please help Thank you
