Apple menu > System Settings and then click Apple ID - the top item (just above wi-fi). If it was already setup that top item will be your Apple ID. See: Set up iCloud on your Mac - Apple Support

Prisoner of icloud I'm trying to use my Macbook Air and I opted out of icloud storage (too expensive for me) and I want to use my computer without icloud and store all that I need on the harddrive I already have on my Mac and also, when needed, to transfer the files over to another separate harddrive. I am having difficulty turning off icloud. How can I work on my Macbook Air without icloud? The measley 5 gigs provided will have to suffice but I'd rather not use it altogether. Thanks for any advice.
