Text-to-speech: Swedish letters å, ä and ö spoken in a wrong way

The Swedish letters å, ä and ö are pronounced as a, a and o when using text-to-speech after upgrade to Ventura 13.0 and 13.1. How to fix it?

For some reason, no matter if I have the Chines keyboard active, changed the language and region to Chinese, and then also region to Mainland China, it still does not give me the choice to add phonetics on the ctrl-click or right-click. I cannot figure this one out, I have heard about Word having this issue on non-English systems, but not that Pages would have the same issue... Ideas, anyone?

Predictive text keeps offering a with an accent I once type à la française in an English text and now every time I type an ‘a’ it suggests an ‘à’. For instance when I typed the first ‘a’ it suggested ‘à item’. I have removed the French dictionary. can anyone help please?

Japanese character input no longer working!! Since upgrading to a new Mac Mini (M1, 2020) with Monterey, I haven't been able to type in Japanese. I installed the keyboard options, but it only spits out gobbledygook. The standard phonetic typing system (kotoeri) doesn't seem to be in use anymore. Annoying, because I use Japanese for business, and now have to type all Japanese comms on my iPhone (iOs works fine!!). Does anyone know a fix to this?

VikingOSX is referring to System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content. Choosing one of the enhanced Swedish voices may help.

Is the Mac's System speech language set to English, or Swedish, and using a Swedish voice in the process?

Choosing one of the enhanced Swedish voices does NOT help. I have used this function (text-to-speech) for several years. It must be a kind of bug. I even recommend it to my university students as a means to FOCUS on the text content.
