Hey there mshakarho,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.
The following steps are the most common ways to optimize device settings and improve battery life and lifespan:
1. Adjust the display brightness - Adjust the display brightness by dimming the screen or turning on Auto-Brightness. Auto-Brightness enables the screen to adjust brightness based on lighting conditions.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size, then turn on Auto-Brightness.
2. Adjust notification frequency - Alerts and banners consume battery life because they need to wake the device and the display. Consider disabling Lock Screen notifications and using only necessary alerts, banners, or badges. Choose Settings > Notifications > select each app under “Notification Style” to make the necessary changes.
3. Use Auto-Lock - Turn on Auto-Lock to set the device to automatically lock and enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity. Turn on Auto-Lock in Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Select a suitable interval. Apple recommends 1 minute.
4. Adjust Location Services settings - Apps that actively use Location Services features reduce battery life. Some apps use Location Services in the background to track the device's location. To prevent an app from tracking the device's location, adjust the app's settings or turn off Location Services for that app. Choose Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Tap the affected app, and depending on the app's purpose, consider setting Location Services to "Never" or "While Using the App”.
5. Manage network connections - Using a cellular connection to download content, play games, or stream media quickly reduces battery life. Use Wi-Fi when possible.
6. Update apps - App updates frequently include power-consumption improvements. Update apps when possible, especially apps that use the most power. Choose the App Store > Tap on your profile icon at the top of the screen > Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

After completing our recommended steps, test out your iPhone at least 24-48 hours to see if the battery issue is resolved or unresolved. If it’s still unresolved after this timeframe, let us know.
Take care!
