email cannot connect to server

I am using an iPad Pro 3rd generation with IOS 16. Email messages don’t load consistently from my Yahoo mail account. Cannot connect to server.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.0

set up yahoo email on ios I got this error message when trying to send email. First time I have seen it in 7 years of using iPad and Mail client to connect to my Yahoo email Cannot Send Mail The connection to the outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers an be configured for Mail accounts in Settings > Mail > Accounts. I cannot see anywhere at that point to ADD a server connection/name. Email won’t download from the server on IPad/IPhone My aol email won’t download from the server on my IPad and IPhone. When you click on an email, it says mail has not been downloaded from server.
