Can anyone please help? I'm stuck in a loop of "invalid phone number" when Apple have provided the phone number, won't let me edit or change it, and changing the region to Jersey instead of UK as previously suggested, hasn't helped either!

Apple doesn’t provide phone numbers. Apple is not a cellular service provider.
Why don’t you try explaining what the problem is. Your post is too vague to be able to determine what’s going on.
When attempting to set up a child account, Apple ask for a telephone number for the parent account. This field is already filled by Apple as they have my phone number. This field cannot be edited or changed for unknown reason, only the area, as already suggested by a previous post.
