Virus in Gmail pdf?

Hi,

I wasn’t thinking and opened an email in my Gmail app on my iPhone that, at a quick glance, I thought was from a legitimate company that was actually right below that email. I didn’t click any links, but I opened an attached PDF that pretended to be from PayPal thanking me for a bitcoin purchase with a 1-800 number to call for questions. Do I need to be concerned that I introduced any sort of virus or malware, etc. to my phone?
