My mouse that came with my iMac is acting up. I keep getting left click boxes showing up when I am not left clicking. I am willing to buy a new mouse but I need to know why the latest version in the Apple online store is not compatible with my iMac. I have 21.5 inch retina 4k Late 2015 running Big Sur 11.7 It seems to be compatible with everything but the one I have. Can someone help me?

It is compatible with OS 10.11 or later. It comes with a USB C to Lightning cable -- you can use an existing USB A to lightning cable or obtain a USB C to USB A adapter. As long as Bluetooth on your iMac is working, it should be fine.
