How do i remove the photos ikon from the taskbar?

You can touch and hold until the apps starting wiggling and drag it or you can touch and hold and then tap Edit Home Screen and then drag it. Also see: Move apps and create folders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
