Backup What's App Chat ON Mac

Hello, I have spent alot of time researching this and reading threads but cannot find an answer. My ipad tells me I can't see previous chat history. I have opened it on my mac. How do I back up chats from there? I've found Go to WhatsApp > tap More options > Settings > Chats > Chat backup > BACK UP. - I don't have a 'more options' option or settings? Any help much appreciated thanks.

Or it only backs up the settings of WhatsApp without the message threads? my I have my auto backup on WhatsApp turned off as well as my end to end encryption, but I have WhatsApp turned on on iCloud backup. Restoring WhatsApp from Backup on Android Has anyone ever able to restore WhatsApp chat history while moving from Android to iPhone? How to do it? I followed all instructions by WhatsApp - moved data using move to iOS, backing it up to iCloud, installing WhatsApp and initiating. It just can't find the back up to restore from.
