Report junk never appears in texts

Report junk never appears in texts, even if I have the filter unknown senders turned on. How come?

Hi Isirla,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! Are these SMS or iMessage? We ask be cause as noted in the following resource:

"If you get an iMessage from someone who's not saved in your Contacts, you'll see a Report Junk link under the message."

And for SMS:

"To report SMS and MMS messages, contact your carrier."
