Cannot add iCloud.com address on my Mac

I wanted to create a @icloud.com email address with my Apple ID. I followed the steps to add one on System Settings in macOS ventura but when I enter the address and click on OK, it shows it is loading something and stops there as shown in the screenshot. Can someone help me with this?
