Appearance of Attachments in Mail

Why are the attachments in Mail appearing differently on my iMac to the same attachments on my iPhone and iPad?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.7

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. Attachments in the Mail app on a Mac may appear differently. Specifically per the Mail User guide it says, "Some attachments—like images or one-page PDF documents—are displayed directly in the message. If you’d rather view the attachment as an icon, Control-click it, then choose View as Icon from the shortcut menu. To display the attachment again, Control-click it, then choose View in Place."
