Review Not Showing Up for Seener

I want the Apple Community and Apple Staff to be aware there is a fraudulent app in the Apple App Store along with the same company providing a link to the Apple App Store but it doesn't go there.

First, the Seener App in the Apple Store is not a grocery store inventory app (unless you have a Hong Kong or Singapore IP address). If you use the Seener App in the US, it is actually Seener Exchange. Seener Exchange is a cryptocurrency exchange where you can trade various cryptocurrency futures. However, when you attempt to withdraw your money, they do not allow you to withdraw money and then ask for a $5,000 USDT deposit to get your money back. They then freeze your account. See screen shots below.

For some reason my reviews do not make it to the App Store. I have notified Apple of the nature of this app but it is still in the App Store.

Secondly, you can check out this Exchange here, ****

There is a link that says download the app from the Apple Store. However, it does not take you to the Apple Store. It redirects you to the link below which appears to be the Apple Store.

**** The screen looks similar to the Apple Store.

If you install the software, it installs MDM software so you give scammers control of your phone.

Third, the privacy issues with this app are horrible (check out the website to see what they collect,****. I understand that banks and crypto exchanges like Coinbase and Binance comply with Know Your Customer (KYC), however, Seener uses your information to open checking accounts based on your name, email, and the address on your documents.

For the app store app: Use the Report A Concern link in the app store page for the app, and leave feedback posted.

What parts of cryptocurrency that are not effectively a wildcat bank (at best) and related speculation, tend too often to be a Ponzi scheme, or a pyramid scheme, or a mundane fraud, or a scam, or grifting, or a pump-and-dump, or a payment channel for ransomware or ilk, or money laundering, or regulatory arbitrage (around taxes, KYC, and AML), are implementations usually able to be replaced with a different implementation—such as a traditional database—that can avoid the massive overhead of a distributed ledger; of proof of work, or proof of stake, or ilk.

Thanks MrHoffman. I have tried that several times and I have left feedback similar to what is above (but without the screen shots) and the App is still in the App Store.

Within the Apple app store guidelines and within applicable laws, and with regard to the reviews and concerns reported to Apple, the apps in the app store can do pretty much whatever they want.

It’ll be many years for regulators, accountants, police and prosecutors, and lawyers to unwind some few parts of the morass that is cryptocurrency. Much of the money will be missing.
