MacOS Custom resolution / Text size

Hey all, I am a newish mac user. In the display settings there are a few options for screen resolution / text size, shown below:


My issue is that I want something between default and more space, but see no way to do that.

I found a 3rd party program which pretty much did that, but it does not take advantage the extra space around the notch area, which looked a bit odd to me. With that being said, is there any way I can chance the text size to exactly how I want it instead of using this menu that only has 5 options?

Try this:

1) choose More Space

2) in System Settings change menu bar size to large

3) In Finder change the View settings to use a larger font size.


These will compensate at least some of the most common things being too small.
