Problem with AirPods 2nd Generation

I got AirPods 2nd Generation and whenever I put them in the case, they say that they are fully charged after listening to music for a hour.

What do I do?

Thank you,

If your AirPods are saying that they are fully charged after only listening to music for an hour, it's possible that there is an issue with the battery or charging system. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Make sure that you are using the correct charging cable and adapter. The AirPods 2nd generation require a lightning-to-USB cable and a USB power adapter to charge.
  2. Check the charging case for any visible damage or debris. If the charging case is damaged or there is debris blocking the charging contacts, the AirPods may not charge properly.
  3. Try resetting your AirPods. To reset your AirPods, place them in the charging case, close the lid, and wait at least 15 seconds. Then, open the lid and press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the status light flashes white.
  4. Try cleaning the charging contacts on the AirPods and the charging case. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently clean the charging contacts on the AirPods and the charging case.
  5. If none of these steps help, it's possible that there is an issue with the battery or charging system of your AirPods. In this case, you may need to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue or provide guidance on getting your AirPods repaired or replaced.
